For me it’s that time of the year in which you are looking forward to the holidays, ๐ŸŽ…ย the darkness of winter is kicking in,ย ๐ŸŒšย ย and procrastination will be a students best friend again. ๐ŸŽ“ย Don’t you find yourself in some stress when you remember…

… that that essay is due tomorrow!ย ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

… that there’s a big exam coming up next week.ย ๐Ÿ˜“

… you have to do your chores.ย ๐Ÿ˜ด

Here are 10 great tips on how to deal with stress.ย ๐Ÿ˜Š (check below for suggestions)

1. Share something that makes you laugh:ย ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜‹

Thisย website is great for a quick laugh. Or spend some time with your mates, or family. Who knows what secret lives they have?

2. Swim in the ocean:ย ๐Ÿš๐ŸŒŠ

Or, if you live in Sweden and don’t have an ocean. Search on youtube: “Ocean sounds” lie on your bed and put your sunglasses on, and switch all the lights in your room on. I know where I’m gonna spend my weekend.large-1

3. Remember we all make mistakes: ๐ŸŒ€โ˜”ย 

You might feel better to know that someone, out there, was once late for class, was sweaty because of the running, opened the door, fell and looked up only to see it wasn’t their class.

4. Say no when you need to:ย ๐Ÿ‘Ž

Saying yes, always, to everything, I’m already getting tired. And trust me, I said yes to nearly everything for a while, I ended up with way to many projects on my hands.

5. Cook a meal from scratch:ย ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ

I personally love pasta, because if you have pasta, you are saved from a hungry day, and pasta tastes great with nearly everything. Or if you are a not-so-kitchen-queen person like me, go get your favourite food.

6. Tell someone you love them:ย ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’Œ

Or if this is a little extreme, just say thanks randomly, with a big smile off course. For example to: your cat, or your dog, your boyfriend or girlfriend and off course don’t forget your friends who have been there for you when you didn’t have pasta to cook (whaddup post reference!). Don’t forget your parents once in a while too!

7. Play your favourite song:ย ๐Ÿ”Š๐Ÿ“ฑ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽง

Or search all your favourite songs together and make a-favourite-song-marathon (Nice to add while your lying on the beach with your sunglasses on). spotify

8. Do more of what’s important for you:ย โšฝ๐ŸŽฎโœˆ

I know that being a human being in the 21st century can be hard, especially because that includes keeping up with obligations, work and school. But don’t forget to have some fun sometimes, with friends, or just jump of the sofa with a movie, or netflix and spend the day.

9. Be proud of who you are:ย ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ‘ธ

Don’t be someone else, because everyone else is already taken.

10. Celebrate when things go well:ย
