Hey curious mind,
From now one (I promise) that I will post one song every Monday that I think is worth sharing that is wonderful to listen to when walking on the street. Since listening to music is one of my favourite past-time activities and I walk to school every morning, I've got lost of time to figure out which song I'm going to post.
Though today is not Monday (I know, I know) I'd still like to share a beginning of a Walking on the street playlist. Here are my first 5 songs that I think are worthy to listen to when walking on the street
1. Everybody wants to rule the world – Lorde
I am not a very big fan of Lorde, but I have to say that if you want to feel awesome and as if you could rule the world I would put this song on repeat (yes, I am guilty of endlessly listening to songs on repeat).
Dear villains with a plan to take over the world: here’s your inspiration song!
2. Fancy – Iggy Azalea feat. Charlie XCX
I’m not going to lie, but this is my jam. The first time I listened to it I hated it, I ripped off my headphones and put on a Coldplay song. Yet then I heard it on the radio, and my friend showed it to me by forcing her headphones on my head and forcing me to listen to it, and it got stuck in my head. I know the whole lyrics and can’t resist not mouthing the lyrics when in the train.
3. Midnight city – M83
Perfection can not come close to this song, I have listened to it for way too long. Longer than my average listening time to any other song, which makes it a legend.
This song is perfect when crossing the street, or strolling.
4. Strong – London Grammar
A music list wouldn’t be complete with a more relaxed song. I’ll tell you that you will zone out for a moment when listening to this song.
5. Tous les mêmes – Stromae
Perfect if you have a point to prove later on in the day. Can you resist not dancing on the hook of the song?
NOTE: Never put the music too loud, it can damage your ears and as a result, you can’t listen to music anymore.
Also: watch out when crossing the streets with music on, you might not hear a car, which can have disastrous effects.
Advice: listen to music with one ear, always look when crossing the street.
