11 mottos to remember

Just like quotes, I love mottos.

Why?

Because they help in setting your mindset, and having a positive mindset really helps. When I moved to Stockholm, I saw the positive things of it; a new country, new friends, new experiences, a new language and another story to tell during Christmas. Some of my classmates, who had to be dragged to Sweden whilst kicking and hitting in the air around them, didn’t have this mindset and found that it was much harder to make friends and to appreciate Sweden. Just saying ;).

I picked out 11 mottos that I liked the most. Hope you enjoy it. 🙂

Inspired by: 5 mantras to remember – Private Life of a Girl.

“What if I fall? But oh darling, what if you fly?”

Be who you are, not who the world wants you to be.

Find Joy in the ordinary.

Stop being so afraid of what could go wrong, and focus on what could go right.

Do something instead of killing time,  Because time is killing you.  -Paulo Coelho

The things you take for granted, someone else is wishing for.

Be your own hero.

Don’t do something that you will regret later.

The universe is made of tiny stories

“You can’t eat beauty, it doesn’t sustain you. What is fundamentally beautiful is compassion, for yourself and those around you. That kind of beauty enflames the heart and enchants the soul.” -Lupita Nyong’o

It’s not about ideas,  It’s about making them happen.

This is a great moment to learn.
